In our study, the book titled Cafer Es-Sadık Fütüvvetname, prepared by Saffet Sarıkaya, was criticized. The term “futuwwa” generosity, courage, truthfulness, honesty, helpfulness and justice. The concept of Futuwwa is generally associated with the Ahi organization. Ahi order is a socio-economic and cultural organization that became widespread among tradesmen and craftsmen, especially during the Anatolian Seljuk and Ottoman periods. Ahiism aimed to protect both professional standards and moral values and was based on the principles of futuwwa. This organization encouraged its members to be honest, fair, and helpful in both their work and private lives. The institutionalization of Futuwwa contributed to the spread of moral discipline and social responsibility awareness in various segments of society. Fütüvvetnames, that is, written documents explaining the principles of fütüvvet, provide detailed information on how these values should be implemented.
