Abstract

The work to be introduced, originally titled "Where The Two Seas" and translated into Turkish as "Iki Denizin Buluştuğu Yer HIZIR (a.s.)", has been published by Central Michigan University faculty member Hugh Talat Halman. The book, which is a Sufi-themed work consisting of 342 pages, was translated by Ismail Aydin and published by Nefes Yayınları in Istanbul in February and April of 2018, with two editions. The cover of the book featurese a depiction of Hızır (a.s.), also known as the "Green Person" in legends, standing on a large fish with his hands raised in prayer at the point where two seas meet. The book is composed of seven main sections, in harmony with the content of the book as depicted on the cover. In this respect, the cover is designed in harmony with the content of the book.
