The study for which we evaluated the publication was written by Russian researcher Yuri Averyanov. The main subject of the study is Alevi Bektashism. The work aims to explore historical data regarding the emergence and early history of the Bektashi Sufi brotherhood in Anatolia, as well as the personality of the founder of this spiritual association, Haji Bektash Veli, who is now considered one of Turkey's most respected folk saints. In line with this purpose, the subject of Bektashism is covered in ten chapters in the work. The book consists of three indexes under the headings of Preface, main part, Conclusion, Appendix, References (381 sources in total), “Terms and ethnonyms”, “Geographical and topographic names”, “Proper names” and summaries in English and French languages.
