Abstract

This study is based on Hakan Keleş's The Wise Conqueror of Hearts, Hoca Ahmet Yesevi, Veysel Akkaya's Turkestan Pir, Ahmed Yesevi and Duran Çetin's Turkestan Pir, Hodja Ahmed Yesevi deal with three works. Hakan Keleş's work has an attractive content for young readers and adults as it presents the life of Hoca Ahmed Yesevi in the form of a biographical story. Veysel Akkaya's Turkestan Pir, Ahmed Yesevi tells the life of Khoja Ahmed Yesevi. Duran Çetin's Turkestan Pir, Hodja Ahmed Yesevi is enriched by the narration in Hodja Ahmed Yesevi's own language. However, the place of Ahmed Yesevi in Alevi Bektashi culture is not emphasized in the three works examined.
