Abstract

The translated article was published in Russian in 1896. In addition to Pavel Nikolaevich Ahmerov, two more people participated in the preparation of the article. One of them is Lutfullah Khoja Atakhojakaziev, the Muslim judge of Turkistan and the other is Abu Bekr Akhmetjanovich Divaev, a member and employee of the Society of Archeology, History and Ethnography at the Imperial Kazan University. Namely, Lutfullah Khoja copied the text of the inscriptions in the Tomb of Khoja Ahmed Yesevi in the city of Turkistan, Divaev sent these notes to Kazan University with an explanatory letter, and Ahmerov prepared an article based on this information and specially translated the text of the inscriptions into Russian. The inscriptions presented in the article cover a wide period from the time of Amir Timur to the end of the 19th century.
